Disaster Relief
Mission

Global Strategic Alliance's approach to disaster relief is to take strategic action to meet the needs of the moment while simultaneously planning for long-term recovery. Our pattern has been to work in areas that have, for various reasons, been overlooked by major media during times of crisis. We are therefore able to fill in the gaps in a relief operation by helping these less-publicized areas.

Project History

Katrina Recovery Task Force Project

The mission of the Central PA Katrina Recovery Task Force is to develop and implement a Central Pennsylvania response to the reconstruction needs in the Gulf Region resulting from the Hurricane Katrina catastrophe. This is a city-to-city effort that is becoming a template for relief work involving whole communities in both giving and receiving aid.
